What a fantastic turnout for the Patterson Library Friends' E-Waste Collection & Document Shredding Event!

Thanks to our wonderful community, boxes of unwanted electronics were collected by Upcycle, and Legal Shred shredded over 3,000 pounds of paper! That's a lot of clutter cleared out!

And what made the day even better was the generosity of everyone who brought donations for the Patterson Food Pantry, filling our collection box and helping neighbors in need.

A special thank-you to Upcycle, Legal Shred, and our Patterson Library Friends for all their hard work, and to everyone who stopped by with electronics, documents, and food donations. We couldn't have asked for a better turnout!

It's always wonderful to see our community come together for our Great Give Back event!

We had a full house for a wonderful evening with award-winning illustrator, artist, and author Michael Garland!
Michael took us on a fascinating journey through his creative career, sharing stories and insights from his years as an award-winning children's book illustrator and author, as well as his work as a talented artist.
The audience enjoyed hearing about the inspiration behind his work and the experiences that have shaped his remarkable career. Thank you to Michael for sharing his time and artwork with us.
If you missed the presentation, you can still enjoy Michael's exhibit on display at the Patterson Library through November.
