Safety Update: Crossing Guard at Flicker and Peregrine

Dear Creekside Families,

Student safety is our top priority. Creekside Middle School and Patterson Joint Unified School District are working to hire an additional crossing guard for the intersection of Flicker and Peregrine. Beginning Monday, October 26, a substitute crossing guard will cover this intersection while we work to fill the position.

The Chief of Police has also added this intersection to the agenda for the next Traffic Committee meeting to discuss marking the intersection to support safer crossings.

Thank you to the parents who brought this safety concern to our attention and partnered with Creekside and PJUSD to identify this need. Your input and collaboration help us make our school community safer.

Please continue to drive cautiously, watch for pedestrians, and follow the crossing guard’s directions. Thank you for helping keep our Panthers safe!
