Firefighter Lund found the highest point in our fire district today to bring you an important reminder: never forget. Last night Pawlet firefighters joined Arlington, West Pawlet, Rupert and Manchester in Dorset for a mutual aid drill at the JK Adams facility. While tankers drilled on large-scale water supply, we burned a stack of pallets the company wished to discard, and practiced with Manchester's tower ladder, which afforded the best view in town. Our thanks to Dorset Fire Department for hosting this valuable exercise.
