Turning 65 soon? VA health care, Medicare, and TRICARE For Life can work together, but the right mix depends on your individual needs.

As you approach 65, its important to understand your health care options, enrollment timelines, and how VA benefits may coordinate with Medicare or TRICARE For Life.

A few things to remember:
✅ Medicare enrollment timing matters
✅ VA health care may be free or low cost for many Veterans
✅ Your access to care may change over time
✅ TRICARE For Life can help fill coverage gaps
✅ Enrolling in one program does not automatically cancel another

Learn more about your options at VA.gov.

📸🇺🇸Call for photos! The City of Peabody is creating a photo slideshow honoring all veterans who have served throughout our nation’s 250-year history.

The slideshow will debut at the Peabody Veterans Day Breakfast on November 11th. Planning for the breakfast is underway, and more details will be shared soon.

Veterans and their families are encouraged to submit photos to be included in the slideshow—even if they cannot attend the breakfast.

Digital photos can be emailed to [email protected], or you can bring physical photos to the Veterans Office at Peabody City Hall. The deadline to submit photos is November 1st.

Thank you for your help with this special project!

🏡Homestead Highlights!🏡

Your home is more than just a place to live; it's also one of the biggest investments you may ever make. But did you know Massachusetts law provides protections for the equity you've built in your home?

A homestead helps protect the equity in your primary residence from certain creditor claims, offering an important layer of financial protection for qualifying homeowners.

Under Massachusetts law, eligible homeowners automatically receive homestead protection up to $125,000 in equity. By recording a Declaration of Homestead with the Registry of Deeds, that protection increases up to $1 million!

Our new Homestead Highlights series will answer common questions, clear up misconceptions, and help homeowners better understand these protections. Want to learn more? Visit us at SalemDeeds.com for more information and homestead forms
