We had a wonderful time celebrating at United Way of Central Alabama's 2026 Shelby County Campaign Kickoff!

We are honored to be one of 14 local organizations selected to receive a community project grant! We are incredibly grateful to United Way of Central Alabama for their continued support of our mission and the families we serve throughout Shelby County.

This year's theme, "The Power of Us," is a great reminder of the impact we can make when we come together to strengthen our community. Thank you, United Way of Central Alabama, for investing in organizations like ours!

A huge thank you to COMPACT Officer Amy Reach for joining our DAY Program students for our first breakout session of the year!

Officer Reach spoke with our students about the importance of character and how the choices we make reflect who we are. We are so grateful for her willingness to share her time and knowledge with our students and help them develop valuable life skills!

Alabaster PD's Amy Reach and Tommy Stewart (retired) both taught Character to students at the Day Program for Alabaster City Schools.

Character is who you are.
Reputation is who people think you are.

Who will you be when no one is looking?
Who you are when you think no one is looking is your superpower.

Food for thought with teens..
