Pelham Senior Center ​​The mission of the Pelham Senior Center is to positively impact our 55+ community. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays).

🏛️✨ History, Hidden Treasures & a Whole Lot of WOW!

What a fantastic day of exploring! Our adventure began at the beautiful The Weeden House Museum and Garden, where Beth Hamilton brought history to life with her incredible guided tour! We loved every minute of it!

Next, we headed to Main Street Cafe Madison where we enjoyed a delicious lunch before setting off for our final stop!

And what a finale it was! 🤩 Signals Museum absolutely blew us away! Another outstanding guided tour filled with fascinating information, and plenty of hands on exhibits!

From stepping back in time to discovering the amazing world of communication and technology, today was packed with surprises!

❤️ One bus, three fabulous stops, and a day full of discoveries! This is what our Pelham Senior Center adventures are all about! 🚌✨

Craft Market Vendor Sneak Peek!

Almost 35 vendors are bringing a little bit of everything to the Pelham Senior Center—from handmade jewelry, ornaments and cozy sewn creations to custom woodwork, wreaths, artwork, candles, home fragrances and festive holiday décor.

You’ll also find unique apparel and accessories, bird feeders made from reclaimed wood, recycled-glass art, gift sets, fresh breads, cinnamon rolls, pies, cookies and plenty of other treats! 🎁🍪

Friday’s Halloween Trivia had us scratching our heads, second-guessing our answers, and laughing along the way! 😂 From spooky surprises to some tricky questions, our teams put their Halloween knowledge to the test!

There was plenty of friendly competition, a few brain stumpers, and no shortage of laughs! Who knew Halloween could be so entertaining?! 🎃🧡

Pelham/Shelby County registration opens tomorrow, Monday, October 12 and for non-Shelby County members on Tuesday, October 13. Numbers will be handed out at 8:45am and a lottery style registration will begin at 9:00am both days.

We’re looking for a dependable, welcoming team member to help:

👋 Greet guests and provide information
☎️ Answer calls and routine questions
📅 Assist with the activity calendar
🪑 Set up rooms for classes and programs
💙 Provide excellent service to our members and visitors

The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday from 9-3:30 with shifts anywhere from 8:30 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. This position typically works four-hour shifts, although hours may vary depending on facility needs.

🎶🖤 We Walked the Line… Straight Into a Fantastic Afternoon! 🖤🎸🎤

We kicked things off with a delicious catered lunch from Smiley Brothers Specialty Foods and then it was time to get our Johnny Cash on!

CashBack Music brought the legendary Man in Black to life with an incredible performance that had us singing along, tapping our toes, and loving every minute! 🎶 They absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Who knew a Thursday afternoon could feel like a trip back to the golden days of country music?! 🤠

Cashback Music, you were FANTASTIC! Thank you for bringing a little Johnny Cash magic to the Pelham Senior Center! ❤️
