CARDIO PEOPLE — we want to hear from you! 👀🏃‍♀️🚴

We’re working through the cardio equipment lineup for the new Pella Rec Center, and we want to know what YOU would actually use.

Take a look at the equipment we’re considering and tell us:

What are your TOP 3 picks?

And if there’s a piece of cardio equipment you’d love to see that isn’t shown, tell us that too! ⬇️

Drop your top 3 in the comments — and tag the friend who already knows exactly which machine they’re claiming when the doors open. 😂

This is just the beginning! Over the next few days, we’ll be asking for your input on more of the fitness equipment and programming going into the Rec Center.

🧡 Want to make sure you don’t miss the next question? Follow us on Instagram ! We’re building our new IG community and will be sharing more Rec Center updates, sneak peeks and opportunities to weigh in as we get closer to opening.

We’re building this for you, Pella. Help us get it right. 🧡💙

Help us keep the Vermeer Windmill turning!⚙️

Our volunteer millers are the people behind the scenes (and sometimes way up above the scenes!) who help bring the Vermeer Windmill to life for thousands of visitors each year. We're looking for a few new people to join the team.

No milling experience? No problem. Our millers receive hands-on training at the windmill. We're looking for adults who are curious about how things work, are comfortable being on their feet and navigating the windmill, and are ready to learn something pretty unique.

Once trained, millers typically volunteer just a few days per month, as their schedules allow. Shifts run mid-March through December, Monday through Saturday, and are generally from 9:30am–3:30pm, with a break for lunch.

You must be 18 or older, but there's no upper age limit and certainly no requirement that a “miller” be a man!

If you've ever thought it would be cool to learn the inner workings of a real Dutch windmill, we'd love to hear from you. Send us a message or email [email protected] to learn more!
