This fella stops by all the time just to say hello while walking the dog or going to dollar general. He might as well join the fire department. We hope he has a wonderful birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRY FROM YOUR FRIENDS AT PEMBROKE FIRE DEPARTMENT 🎂🎉🚒. I stole this pic from Deidra Link 😂.

Come rain, shine, flood, or whatever else comes our way we are still on for tomorrow. Slight change of plans for the vendors. Some will be in the activity building setting up and the others will be setting up in the fire station area right beside the activity building. Please come out and support these vendors and your fire department. They have worked hard getting ready for this and we have too. Don’t let the rain hold you back. You will be inside so you won’t melt. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

The Pembroke Festival is this Saturday October 10th from 10-3pm. The Pembroke Fire Department will be selling lots of good food for you to enjoy while you shop, mingle, or just catch up with old and new friends. You have the option to take out or sit down and eat it inside the activity building. This year we will be selling food from inside the activity building. Our menu includes two hotdogs with homemade chili, fries, and drink for $8.00. Big bowl of homemade chili beans with homemade cornbread, crackers, and drink for $8.00. Nachos, apples with caramel dip, fries, funnel fries with powdered sugar, can drinks and water. You can also purchase individually. You definitely won’t go away hungry, that we promise 😉. We look forward to seeing everyone and we hope to have a great Festival.👨‍🚒🚒👨‍🚒🌭🍟🍎🫘

Yesterday we got to enjoy going to Eastern Elementary Middle School for Fire Prevention Week. It was so awesome to see the little kids faces light up when they seen the firefighters and fire trucks. We got lots of high-fives and thank you. We handed out 408 fire prevention treat bags and popsicles. I think they enjoyed it all. We even got Officer Austin Jennings to demonstrate the STOP, DROP, and ROLL for the kids. Thank you all for having us and are looking forward to next year. 👨‍🚒🚒👩‍🚒🚒

Thank you all so much having us this year. The guys and gals really appreciate and enjoyed talking to the kids. It means a lot to us as a community to be able to get involved with the schools and show the kids fire safety. We hope the kids enjoyed their fire prevention treat bags and sweat treat. Looking forward to next year!! 🚒🚒🚒
