CASE UPDATE: Overnight Thefts from Unlocked Motor Vehicles

On October 5, 2026, officers with the Pembroke Police Department conducted an overnight operation (using our department’s drone unit) to stop ongoing thefts from motor vehicles in the Nadine Road area. Our department is pleased to announce that we arrested an individual in connection with these thefts, but we cannot release further details because of their age. This is a great reminder that securing valuables and locking your cars at night is the greatest deterrent to these kinds of events. If you see suspicious activity, please dial our non-emergency line at 603-485-3421, or dial 911 for in-progress emergencies.

We would like to give a shout-out to the amazing members of the Pembroke Community. As some of you may have seen in a separate post of ours, we recently had a large sum of money turned in to the Police Department. Today, we are happy to announce that we were able to reunite that money with its rightful owner. The owner was incredibly grateful to be reunited with the item she has been tirelessly looking for for over a month!

Shortly after, in an unexpected turn of events, we had a SECOND good Samaritan locate another large sum of money. We were again, able to reunite that money with its very grateful owner!

This goes to show how amazing the Pembroke Community is! Keep up the great work!

We'd like to share this message from our friends at the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office. If you have family members who are susceptible to fraud/deception, please talk with them about protecting their identities/finances from scammers.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

We have received numerous calls saying someone is once again calling around pretending to be “Deputy Marshall” from the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office informing you that you have missed court, owe large amounts of money and need to provide your bank account numbers and pay the fees over the phone.

💵 We will NEVER ask you to pay fees over the phone.
🎁 We will NEVER ask you to pay by gift cards.
🏦 We will NEVER ask for your bank information.
☎️ We will NEVER demand you stay on the phone with us until you meet with our deputy.
👨🏼‍⚖️We don’t have any warrants for missing federal jury duty. You didn’t sign a slip saying you’d be there and then forgot about it.

This is all a scam. If you have any doubts, please hang up and call our office or your local police department to confirm. Do not give out your bank account number, credit card number or any personal information.

Found Dog:

As much as we love hanging out with your pets (seriously, they make our day), we have to get them home.

Anyone know where this lovely lady belongs? Found on the 800-block of Cross Country Road.
