Happy Halloween! 🎃 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

Since it's trick-or-treat night, here are the quick hits to stay safe:

*For trick-or-treaters:*
- *See and be seen:* Flashlight + reflective tape. Sidewalks over streets, look both ways even on quiet streets.
- *Costume check:* Make sure you can see clearly - skip masks that block vision if you're walking in the dark. Make sure hems aren't a trip hazard. Flame-resistant is best.
- *Check the candy:* Quick parent scan before eating. Toss anything open or homemade from someone you don't know.

*For homes handing out:*
- *Light the path:* Keep your porch + walkway lit, clear of cords, pumpkins, and wet leaves.
- *Pets inside:* Doorbell + costumes can stress them. Keep them secure.
- *Driver alert:* Pembroke will be busy 5-8pm. Go slow, no phone, watch for kids darting between cars.

Pembroke Firefighters are currently working at a serious motor vehicle crash on Route 3. MedFlight was requested and landed at the North River Plaza.

Mutual aid assistance was provided by Marshfield Fire, and all off-duty Pembroke Firefighters were called in to provide coverage for additional emergency calls
