Brainstorming mode: fully activated! 📝✨

Our 8th grade ELA classes kicked off the Wanted creative writing contest sponsored by Young Writers USA in the library today. The energy was electric as students dove headfirst into character creation, plot mapping, and building out their mini-sagas (a beginning, middle and end in only 100 words!!) 😱 .

Most of our young authors spent the period deep in the planning stage, laying the groundwork for some truly incredible stories. Outlining is where the magic really starts, and I can’t wait to see these draft pages turn into finished submissions! 📚🔥
