Little Critters Story Time- Autumn Series

Story Time- Spiders
Wednesday, October 28th, at 10am
Environmental Education Classroom

A not so scary creepy crawly, join us for this week’s story time about spiders. Learn about why we do not need to be afraid of spiders. Since this story time is the week of Halloween, feel free to come in costume! Weather permitting, we will go outside to find spider webs. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Don't forget tomorrow Saturday, October 17th, 2026 is our 20th Annual Fall Festival and Pumpkin Float here at Parker Dam.

We will have Vendors, Food Trucks, and Educational Activities running 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM.

At 4:30 PM is our annual Halloween Costume parade and Trunk-or-Treat at the office. Anyone is welcome to come out and participate in the parade and Trunk-or-Treat, we ask if you plan on handing out candy to please be in the parking area by 4:00 PM.

6:45 PM at the Beach we will do the annual pumpkin raft float as well as our bonfire and stories.

The weather looks clear, but chilly!

Fall Youth Fishing Day

Join us for a youth trout fishing program Today, Saturday, October 10, 2026. Join us from 10:30 AM- 12:30 PM to try your hand at trout fishing here in Parker Lake.

We will have a tent set up with our loaner gear available near the culvert by the beach.

This loaner gear is available to anyone 18 and under. Participants aged 16-18 must have the appropriate fishing license with them to use our loaner gear.

An educator will be available to assist in rigging equipment, teaching knots, discussing bait selection, and what to do with your catch if you are keeping it.

Supplies are limited, to guarantee the availability of a rod please email Jeremiah Irvin at [email protected]
