Driver Spotlight: Curtis Null (Bus 241)
From capturing memories behind the lens to safely driving our students every day, Curtis Null brings an incredible mix of adventure, passion, and care to Bus 241!
Although born in Texas, Curtis moved to Rockingham County at age 12, attending Montevideo and graduating from Spotswood in 1984. After attending photography school in West Virginia, he launched a photography business that is still thriving today! In 2012, he brought his talents to RCPS as a bus driver, and he is now in his third year driving at Peak View with a route full of really good kids.
Family and faith are central to his life. Curtis has been married to his wife Susan for almost 22 years, and they are proud parents to their son, Cooperโa senior at East Rock and Massanutten Regional Governor's School (who you might also catch working at Chick-fil-A!). Together, they are active members at Crosslink Community Church, where Curtis serves on the photography team and sings on the worship team.
When he isn't driving or taking photos, Curtis is likely exploring the globe or adding to his extensive shoe collection! A world traveler, he has visited 5 continents, 27 countries, and all 50 statesโincluding a trip to Italy where he drove a Ferrari for his birthday, and a recent 7,000-mile summer road trip through 19 states to visit Mt. Rushmore, Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks.
