Today, we join our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives that day, including the 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and other first responders who answered the call without hesitation.
Their courage, selflessness, and sacrifice remain an enduring example of what it means to serve others, even in the face of unimaginable danger.
We also remember the families who lost loved ones, those who survived, and the countless responders who have continued to suffer from illnesses related to their service at Ground Zero and the other attack sites.
May we never forget those we lost, the bravery demonstrated that day, or the unity that followed.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget. ๐บ๐ธ๐
