🎶✨ We had a packed cafeteria last week for our Disney Magic Musical! Our third graders, along with Mrs. Walberg’s class, did an amazing job putting on a wonderful performance! 🌟

A huge thank-you to our teachers and students for all their hard work and dedication. And a special shout-out to our incredible music teachers, Mrs. Rahmlow, Ms. Hawks, and Ms. Swearengin, for all they do to make these special moments possible! ❤️🎵

What a magical performance! 🏰✨

ECPS Schools and Offices to Remain Closed through Friday, October 16, 2026

ECPS campuses and offices will remain closed through Friday, October 16, as district personnel and contractors are actively making repairs and mitigating damage across our campuses. The District is planning to resume normal operations on Monday, October 19, barring any unforeseen developments.

We are working closely with Florida Power and Light and other local utilities and law enforcement to re-establish vital services to our campuses. The Florida Department of Education has graciously assisted us in deploying the State National Guard, the Florida Department of Transportation, and various contractors to assist in the effort.

School district Transportation officials continue to work to ensure all bus routes can be run safely.

ECPS will continue to provide updates via Focus Communications, social media, and local media outlets. As always, the safety of our students, their families, our employees and this community remains our top priority.

Lipscomb School Families, 🦁

We hope you and your families are safe and doing well following Hurricane Isaias. We know some of you are still without power and dealing with fallen trees on homes, fences, and power lines. Please know that our thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by the storm.

We were able to walk our school campus and are thankful to report that Lipscomb sustained only minimal damage. We are truly blessed! We did lose a large section of our car rider line awning, but we couldn’t help but smile when we saw that the “LIONS” sign was still holding strong in the fence! 🦁

We are so grateful to our school district and all the employees who have been working tirelessly since the storm passed to assess damage, clean up, and prepare our campuses for students and staff to return. Their hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed!

At this time, we have not received an official return date, but we anticipate that more information will be shared later today. We will keep you updated as we learn more.

In the meantime, please stay safe, take care of one another, and know that we are thinking of our Lipscomb Lion family. We look forward to being back together soon! 🦁💜💛🐾
