💍 Thinking about popping the question?

The Pensacola Lighthouse might be just the place to do it!

With beautiful views of the Gulf and Pensacola Bay, it's a pretty incredible spot to start your next chapter together.

⚓ Most people come for the Lighthouse, but there's a lot more to see while you're here!

Our Maritime Museum is full of interesting pieces of Pensacola's history, from the people who kept the Lighthouse running to the maritime traditions that helped shape our area.

If you've visited us before but skipped the museum, you've been missing out!

Next time you're here, take some time to look around. There's quite a bit of history packed into this place!

🇺🇸 For many military families, Pensacola is more than just another duty station.

Some of you started your military journey here. Others spent years in Pensacola before orders took you somewhere new. And for some, it's where you're stationed right now.

Being located on NAS Pensacola, we've had the opportunity to meet military families from all over, and we love hearing their stories.

We'd love to know: Was Pensacola your first duty station, one of many stops along the way, or the place you decided to call home? ⚓❤️

💡 Did you know women played an important role in keeping America's lighthouses running?

Being a lighthouse keeper was no easy job, but many women took on the responsibility of maintaining the lights and helping keep ships safe.

Our "Women Who Lit the Way" exhibit shares their stories, along with those of the SPARs, the women who served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

Next time you're at the Lighthouse, take a little time to explore this exhibit. These women helped make maritime history, and their stories deserve to be told!
