Our Pensacola Beach firefighters out doing what they do best—taking care of our community! 🚒❤️

Today, that meant hanging the road sign back up at Fort Pickens Road and Via De Luna. We’re grateful for the many ways this crew shows up for our beach and the people who call it home. Thank you for all you do!

IAFF Local 4131 would like to thank IAFF Disaster Relief for coming to the Florida Panhandle and supporting our firefighters following Hurricane Isaias.

The Disaster Relief team assisted with tree removal and temporary roof repairs for more than 60 firefighters whose homes were damaged by the storm. Members of Local 4131 coming off shift also showed up to lend a hand with the extensive work needed to help our fellow firefighters and their families.

Many of the firefighters impacted by the storm were on duty before, during, and after the hurricane, serving their communities while their own homes were being damaged.

Having a team come in to take some of that burden off their shoulders made a tremendous difference. We are grateful to IAFF Disaster Relief and every member who volunteered their time to help our own.

Thank you for showing up for the firefighters who show up for everyone else.
