🎆 The Fourth of July is coming up fast! Check out these important safety reminders:
- Aerial fireworks and fireworks that "explode" are illegal.
- After using your fireworks, discard them into a bucket of water. Do NOT just throw them into a trash can where materials can catch on fire.
- It is a felony to shoot fi****ms into the air.
- For noise complaints and illegal firework reports, please call our non-emergency line at 623-773-8311.

Peoria Police Seek Assistance in Locating Endangered Male Juvenile
Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating Elijah Viera, a 12-year-old male. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’2”, approximately 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He is currently wearing an oversized white t-shirt, shorts of unknown color, and white Nike tennis shoes. Elijah is considered endangered due to a developmental disability that may impair his ability to recognize danger and safely return home.
Elijah was last seen this afternoon at 2:30 P.M., near the area of 103rd Ave and Northern Ave. Family is very concerned for his well-being.
Elijah does not have a cell phone with him. Anyone who sees Elijah is encouraged to contact the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311. A photo of Elijah is attached.

Peoria Police Seek Assistance in Locating Endangered Juvenile
Peoria Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating Adalyz "Lalo" Ambriz, a 16-year-old female who identifies as male. Adalyz “Lalo” is described as 5'4" tall, approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Adalyz “Lalo” was last seen after leaving a group home near 68th Avenue and Happy Valley Road in Peoria on June 21, 2026. They were wearing a white shirt with graphics, gray pants, and slide-style shoes.
Adalyz “Lalo” is considered endangered due to medical concerns and the need for daily prescribed medications. Family members and caregivers are concerned for their well-being because they have been without their required medications. Adalyz “Lalo” has a cell phone; however, it only functions when connected to Wi-Fi.
Anyone who sees Adalyz “Lalo” or has information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311. A photograph of Adalyz “Lalo” is attached.

Peoria Police seek the public’s help in locating Peggy Le Blanc, a 74-year-old female. She is described as a white female, 5’2”, approximately 215 lbs., Gray hair, and blue eyes. She was last seen possibly wearing blue crocs and light blue shirt.
Peggy was last seen on June 17, 2026, at approximately 4:00 AM, in the area of 89th Ave and Bell Road. Officers have been actively looking for Peggy but have not been able to locate her. Peggy is classified as an endangered missing person due to known mental health conditions that may place her at increased risk for harm.
Peggy does not have a cell phone with her. Anyone who sees Peggy is encouraged to contact the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311.

Today, officers from across the West Valley partnered to address speeding and other hazardous driving behaviors that continue to be a concern for our communities.
The enforcement effort resulted in:
• 169 Civil Speed Citations
• 13 Criminal Speed Citations
• 11 Distracted Driving Citations
• 62 Other Traffic Citations
• 55 Warnings
• 266 Total Contacts
Speeding and distracted driving remain leading factors in serious and fatal crashes. These enforcement efforts are conducted in response to community concerns and are aimed at improving safety for everyone who travels our roadways.

The Peoria Police Department continues to receive concerns from residents regarding speeding in our community. In response, officers assigned to the West Valley Speed Task Force will conduct a special enforcement detail on Wednesday, June 10, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Our goal is not simply enforcement; it is improving safety for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and families who use our roadways every day. Please slow down, stay alert, and drive responsibly.
