Peoria Traditional School This is the official Peoria Traditional School page. All Arizona students are eligible to apply for admission.

The Peoria Traditional School, part of the Peoria Unified School District, is housed on the campus of Coyote Hills Elementary. It is a tuition-free school of choice that offers an accelerated curriculum that includes Singapore math designed to challenge students in grades K-6. The Peoria Unified School District boasts a 94 percent high school graduation rate. It is one of the largest unified school districts in Arizona and prides itself on excelling schools, award-winning teachers, high AIMS test scores, specialized signature programs and championship sports programs.

🧪 6th graders put their engineering and problem-solving skills to work during a Science Lab! Students challenged themselves to make a film canister hover in the middle of a water container by creating just the right density. There were plenty of adjustments along the way, but nobody let their ideas sink! 🌊🔬

Tuesday was an exciting day for our Junior High Choir students! Choir members from PTS and other Sunrise Mountain feeder schools traveled to SMHS to rehearse with fellow singers and learn about the choir programs and opportunities available in high school. 🎶🎤
