UPDATE: Cox Springs Road at the intersection of Adrina Drive/Thunder Valley Drive is fully closed until the new deceleration lane project is finished.

Effective immediately Cox Springs Road at the intersection of Adrina Drive/Thunder Valley Drive will be closed to all southbound traffic to Highway 20 for an upcoming deceleration lane construction project.

By end of morning Friday, September 18th, the Highway 20/Cox Springs Road deceleration lane and median will also be closed for the construction project. The projected completion date of the project is November 13, 2026.

All motorists please access Thunder Hills Road or Exit 308 overpass for access to Highway 20 during the construction phase.

School starts today! During your morning and afternoon commutes please respect the 20 mph school speed zones, and let’s all have a safe and great first day back to school. Also, a reminder, there is no parking in the upper city lot, Maple Ridge Street and Hickory Ridge Street for drop off/pick up times. All must drop off/pick up at your designated school locations off Peosta Community Parkway or in the schools parking lot. Let all have a safe school year!

Outrun the Rays 5K Walk/Run. Map is posted below. Roads will be closed from 8:45am-10:30am (approximately). We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding to keep our participants and community safe during these events. Please expect delays!

🚨🚨🚨Highway 20 Construction update 🚨🚨🚨 The Iowa DOT has just opened both the on ramp and offramp at the 308 overpass at Peosta and will remain open. Please still use caution as the remaining Construction will continue with this project on Highway 20.
