Thursdayโ€™s Student Spotlight shines on Savannah Smith! A 12th grader, Savannah is the daughter of Jesse Smith and Sarah Smith-Prokosch.

In her free time, Savannah loves dancing, baking, going for walks, and spending quality time with her friends and grandparents. At home, she shares her space with two dogs and a cat, and enjoys staying productive by helping out around the houseโ€”especially washing dishes and tidying surfaces!

Savannahโ€™s favorite fruit is nectarines, and when it comes to drinks, she loves a Coconut Red Bull or anything fun and creative. Looking ahead, she aspires to pursue a career as a nurseโ€”a goal she is already actively building toward through Start College Now courses and her youth apprenticeship hours! ๐Ÿฉบโœจ

Congratulations, Savannah! Keep up the outstanding work! ๐ŸŒŸ

Pepin Elementary hosted a Fire Safety Presentation on October 13th for our elementary students.
Pepin Fire Chief Jesse Muenkel, along with firefighters Aaron Arens and Milan Pesic, spoke with students about fire prevention and safety. They reminded students not to play with matches, reviewed family fire plans, and demonstrated how to "stop, drop, and roll."

Students also had the opportunity to explore the fire trucks and learn about the tools firefighters use.

We sincerely thank the Pepin Fire Department for their time and for keeping our community safe!
