Share What You See!
Local knowledge is an important part of this effort.
Residents often know where roads flood, culverts back up, streams overflow, or drainage problems occur. Community observations help improve our understanding of flooding conditions throughout the watershed.

HAS THE STORM FLOODED YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?
Heavy rain can quickly cause flooded roads, overflowing streams, and drainage problems in our community.

The Town of Pepperell, through its participation in the Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG), is helping collect local reports of storm-related flooding as part of a regional effort to better understand flooding throughout the area.

Pepperell is located within the Nashua River Watershed, which ultimately flows into the Merrimack River. Local observations can help build a better understanding of where heavy rainfall causes flooding and drainage problems throughout the region.

HAVE YOU SEEN FLOODING?
If you’ve observed:

Flooded roads or intersections
Overflowing streams or waterways
Drainage problems
Areas where stormwater is collecting or backing up
Other storm-related flooding
Please share what you observed.

REPORT FLOODING
Your report can help NMCOG and regional partners better understand flooding patterns and identify areas that may need additional attention.

Report flooding through the Merrimack River Revive flood reporting tool

YOUR LOCAL OBSERVATIONS MATTER
Help document where flooding occurs in Pepperell and throughout the region.

Thank you for helping us better understand and document local flooding.
