The Perry County Commission is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the Perry County Mental Health Board. Applications submitted will be considered along side those applicants on file until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 9. Board appointment is scheduled for November 12 during the regular session commission meeting.

🚨 NO BURN ADVISORY – PERRY COUNTY 🚨

The Perry County Commission has issued a NO BURN ADVISORY for all municipalities within Perry County due to extremely dry conditions and no precipitation in the forecast.

These conditions create an increased risk of fires spreading quickly and becoming dangerous.

🔥 Please use extreme caution and avoid all outdoor burning until conditions improve and the advisory is lifted.

We ask all residents to do their part to help protect our communities, homes, property, and first responders.

🗳️ ABSENTEE VOTING NOW OPEN!

Absentee voting for the November 3 General Election begins Tuesday, September 22.

If you are unable to make it to your polling location on Election Day, absentee voting provides an opportunity to cast your ballot ahead of time.
