In honor of National First Responders Day, First Electric Cooperative and Connect2First are proud to provide free appreciation lunches for the men and women who work every day to keep our communities safe.

We invite local first responders to join us for a Grill & Chill Appreciation Lunch at their nearest First Electric office as a small token of our gratitude for their dedication and service.

DMART DEPLOYMENT UPDATE | PENSACOLA, FLORIDA

Our ProMed Ambulance DMART unit has arrived safely in Pensacola, Florida, ahead of Hurricane Isaias.

This incredible photo, captured by ProMed EMT Morgan Halliburton, shows the dramatic cloud deck moving toward the Gulf Coast as the storm approaches.

Ambulance strike teams from the Arkansas Ambulance Alliance and other states are now on the ground, staged and prepared to assist with emergency medical response, patient evacuations, and other needs as conditions warrant.

While our crews are hundreds of miles from home, their mission remains the same: to be there when others need us most.

Please keep our crews, fellow responders, and everyone in the storm's path in your thoughts and prayers.

The entire state remains at high risk for wildfire, and burn bans are in place for 50 counties. Ongoing very dry conditions are expected through the week, and elevated wildfire potential will likely persist for several more weeks. We urge Arkansans to stay aware of these conditions and use caution. Even in counties not currently under a burn ban, the risk of fires escaping and becoming severe remains high.
