🏆 TRAFFIC SAFETY ALL-STARS 🏆

The Indiana State Police Peru District congratulates Troopers Adam Kirk and Josh Lohse on being named 2026 Traffic Safety All-Stars by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI).

Collectively, Troopers Kirk and Lohse removed 119 impaired motorists from Indiana roadways, demonstrating their commitment to keeping our communities safe.

Kirk and Lohse are pictured alongside Tony Kanaan, 2013 Indianapolis 500 Champion, and Doug Huntsinger, Executive Director of ICJI.

Congratulations, Troopers Kirk and Lohse, on this well-deserved recognition! 🚔🏆

Our hearts are heavy today. The Indiana State Police Peru District sends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow troopers of Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips, who was killed in the line of duty today. We stand with our brothers and sisters at KSP. May God bless and keep you during this difficult time.

Last week, Troopers Mario Cruz and Derek Rine had the opportunity to stop by two great community events — the River Rally in Jonesboro and the Ducktail Run in Gas City!

Events like these give our Troopers the chance to connect with the communities we serve, answer questions, and show another side of what it means to be an Indiana State Trooper.
