Petersburg WAVE WAVE exists to support and provide advocacy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
(1)

WAVE exists to support and provide advocacy for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and promote relationships without abuse in the greater Petersburg community. We believe that violence is an unacceptable way to deal with problems and that people have the right to be free from violence in their family homes. We believe that there should be a place where one can go to be safe and explore their options.

It's ! Here's what's happening:
💜Wave for WAVE tomorrow! WAVE's annual fundraising & awareness campaign, Wave for WAVE, is your opportunity to show your support for survivors in Petersburg. WAVE staff, board members, and volunteers will be visiting local businesses all day tomorrow, October 15th, to hand out purple swag, pose for a photo, and collect donations. You can participate by wearing purple, jumping in for a photo, donating, and sharing our social media posts. We're almost halfway to our goal of raising $13,000 - let's get there together! 💪

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

WAVE’s work is possible because of the strength, compassion, and support of our community. Together, we can create a community where survivors feel supported, heard, and never alone.

Join PIA on Saturday, October 10 at 9:00 AM for a community run/walk around the loop as we come together to show our support for survivors of domestic abuse and raise awareness about the importance of healthy, safe relationships.

🏃‍♀️ Walk or run—everyone is welcome!
💜 Show your support.
🤝 Connect with your community.
🍽️ Lunch will be provided afterward!

Be part of the supportive network that helps make our community stronger. We hope to see you there!
