Congratulations to both Amaya Brueckner and Hadley Strand for competing in state Cross Country this past Friday. Both girls showed a lot of grit and determination this season which culminated in a hard course at Jamestown.

Cross Country is not an easy sport, but these two young women handled it with grace as they set personal bests and showcased what hard work and consistency can get you. Way to go girls! Here's to another successful season next year.

The 10A 7 Mindsets group project for Passion First focused on revamping our Veterans Wall of Honor. Students dedicated many hours to this project, demonstrating tremendous commitment, teamwork, and attention to detail. The process involved multiple layers of paint, hours of careful taping, and a great deal of detailed work to bring the vision to life. With the goal of completing the project before Veterans Day, students went above and beyond by working before and after school, during Knight Time, and even during their Study Halls. Their hard work and dedication reflect the true meaning of Passion First, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts to create a meaningful tribute to our veterans.

Check out all the majors/programs that WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act) will help pay students to go into. The list changes every July based on the needs of the state.

DP has seen several students take advantage of this. Please have your teen schedule a meeting with Ms. Beckstrom or contact Job Service yourself. Thanks!
