UPDATE: We will be accepting applications thru Monday 9/21! Interviews starting Tuesday 9/22.

We are looking to hire a couple laborers here at the landfill. This job will consist of picking up trash around the facility, grounds maintenance, asbestos training for unloading of trailers, and other day to day jobs that may come up.

Qualifications are valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and walk long distances outdoors in all types of weather.

Friendly Reminder: The landfill does not accept several common Household items.

We do NOT accept:
1. Liquids of any kind - paints, stains, varnish, thinners, cleaning chemicals, gas, waste oil, etc.
2. Batteries of any kind
3. Mercury Containing devices. - Fluorescent lightbulbs etc.
4. Compresses gas cylinders- Propane tanks any size, aerosol, etc.
5. Other items that may be deemed unacceptable upon office descretion.

Appliances that have freon are accepted, but have an additional $15.00 charge.

Waste Items that need approval before you come:
*Soils
*Sludges
* Lead containing material
*PCB containing material
* Other Special Waste by job.
