Our recruit class 26-2 after a long day doing search and rescue evolutions! Upon their completion of the class in December, these firefighters will have gone through the Firefighter 1 book, testing, and JPRs to move on to the next phase of their time here at Peyton FD. Give these recruits a round of applause, if it was easy…anyone would do it…ESPECIALLY for free. 🧑🏽‍🚒🚨🔥🚒

Did anyone else feel that cold today?! ❄️🥶 we went from short sleeves to winter gear overnight!

It would probably safe to start winterizing your outdoor items but knowing our State, it’ll be 80 degrees again next week 😂. We appreciate every single one of you, for your love, support, and your commitment to helping US serve YOU. Stay safe out there folks!

Here are some pictures from our amazing time at the Fire Prevention event with Elbert Fire Protection District! It is an honor to be a part of these events with you all and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship together.

Not only is it important for agencies to get together for these types of events but it is extremely helpful for our crews to work with one another and learn how we all work. While we do the same job at the end of the day, paid or volunteer, we all have our own way of doing things.

If you have any questions about fire prevention please reach out to us!
