A reminder that tomorrow, Tuesday October 6th, is our monthly outreach to bring FREE healthy food to Pflugerville! We will be giving out food from the parking lot of The Pfield Pflugerville Stadium located at 1440 W Pecan Street from 9-11am with lots of friendly volunteers ready to serve you.

Every first Tuesday of the month, Circle of Hope Community Center partners with Central Texas Food Bank to offer a full fledged Mobile Pantry that provides fruit, vegetables, frozen meat, dairy, and dry goods!!! Everyone is welcome. This will be a DRIVE-THRU distribution so please don’t get out of your cars...volunteers will guide you where to line up your car as you get checked in and wait to be served. Please make sure to make room in your trunk or back seat so volunteers can easily place the groceries there.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning and please tell any of your friends and neighbors who might be blessed by this wonderful outreach to our community!

STAND IN THE GAP — UPDATE

Since sharing our $50,000 appeal, Circle of Hope Community Center has received $2,075 in monetary donations, with an additional $1,000 grant pending that may take a week or more to arrive.

We are incredibly grateful for every gift. ❤️

However, I want to be transparent: our operating account remains critically low, and our need is immediate.

We have the food. We have the volunteers. We have families who need us. Right now, we need the financial support to keep serving them.
If you can give, please consider standing in the gap with us. If you cannot give, please share our appeal. You never know who it may reach.

This isn’t an easy post for me to write. For almost 10 years, you have volunteered, donated food, given financially, prayed for us, shared our posts, and helped us serve thousands of families.

We would not be here without you.

Right now, Circle of Hope Community Center is struggling to stay afloat, and we need your help.

We have the food. We have the volunteers. We have families who need us. What we need is the financial support to keep the operation behind it all moving.

Rent, utilities, fuel, insurance, truck repairs and maintenance—the everyday costs that allow us to pick up food, prepare our warehouse, and be ready when families arrive. Even our faithful truck is on her last leg, and we continue repairing her because those retail food pickups are essential to what we do.

For almost 10 years, Circle of Hope has stood in the gap for thousands of families during some of their hardest moments. Today, we’re asking our community to stand in the gap for us. ❤️

And please don’t think your gift is too small.

🚗 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A LOT CAPTAIN! 🚙

Do you enjoy serving others, starting your day with purpose, and being part of a great team? We’re looking for a dedicated volunteer to serve regularly as our Lot Captain!

⏰ 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM
📍 Circle of Hope Community Center Parking Lot

As our Lot Captain, you’ll help direct cars, keep traffic moving safely and smoothly, and be a friendly, welcoming presence for everyone arriving. It’s a simple role that makes a big difference in creating an organized and positive experience for our guests.

If you’re dependable, friendly, and ready to make a difference—even in the early morning hours—we’d love to have you on our team!

In observance of Labor Day, Circle of Hope Community Center’s Food Pantry will be closed Monday September 7th through Friday September 11th. We will reopen Monday, September 14th at 8am.

We hope you all have a wonderful Labor Day holiday!
