PSJA ISD is an “A” rated district leading the Rio Grande Valley in student success with a +97% graduation rate & over $96 million saved in tuition for families since 2013. PSJA ISD is recognized for expanding access to early college programs, dual credit, and career pathways, allowing students to earn college credit and associate degrees at no cost while still in high school. Each semester, more than 3,000 students enroll in college-level courses through partnerships with South Texas College. The district maintains a graduation rate above 98% and continues to deliver strong outcomes, including hundreds of associate degrees and industry certifications earned each year, along with millions in college tuition savings for families. Through programs such as Dual Language, Career and Technical Education, and Early Childhood education, PSJA ISD prepares students to succeed in college, careers, and a global workforce.

Hundreds of PSJA students and families joined us for our 27th Annual PSJA College Night, connecting with more than 60 colleges, universities, and military branches to ask questions and learn about admissions, scholarships, financial aid, and opportunities after graduation.

Thank you to our PSJA College Transition and College Readiness Departments for continuing to connect our students and families with the resources they need to plan their next steps.

Our PSJA College Readiness Department, high school campus counselors, and Early College/P-TECH directors recently visited UTSA - The University of Texas at San Antonio to strengthen partnerships and explore student opportunities.

The visit included a campus tour, information on academic programs, scholarships, and student support services, with a focus on expanding opportunities through UTSA’s College of Fine Arts and Film Studies Minor.
