Hi fans and friends of Ridgway Park. Previous Park volunteer leadership is handing over the reins to others ready to keep the park beautiful through volunteerism.
Please comment if you are interested in supporting the park. Support means joining other volunteers in managing Love Your Park events, clean ups, requesting & managing grant funds to support park improvements, etc.

It seems our pool will not be opening this summer.
Philly public pools return for the first time in 2 years -- but fewer than 70% will open
Here’s the opening schedule, which isn't as robust as the past because of a major lifeguard shortage.

I know everyone is missing our pools this year. Let’s let a local journalist hear about Ridgway Pool and how much we miss our lifeguards.
A local journalist for Green Philly Blog is interested in how the decision to close Philly public pools has affected your lives.
Here are his questions:
- What pool did you frequent?
- What type of activity did you do there?
- What have you done to stay cool and amuse yourself without the pools?
- What do public pools mean to you?
He wants to hear about you and your experience with and without your pool and would love for this to be answered by as many people as possible.
Let him know how you are faring at [email protected]
