It was a pleasure meeting with AACOPhilly Board Members Colleen and Matthew to discuss their vision for supporting the autism community in Philadelphia.

Matthew, an autistic advocate and activist, shared valuable insights and ideas as we explored potential funding opportunities and future locations to help expand their impact.

I look forward to continuing the conversation and working together to create more opportunities, inclusion, and support for individuals and families in our city.

As we concluded the final City Council session before our summer recess, I want to thank my colleagues, staff, and the residents of Philadelphia for their engagement throughout a productive legislative season.

While Council may be adjourned, the work doesn’t stop. My office will continue serving constituents, attending community events, addressing neighborhood concerns, and fighting for families across our city.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer, Philadelphia!
