Today GACM's Angel Tree and gift give-a-way was held. With the support of Flourtown and Summit Presbyterian Churches and a generous donor, many parents, grandparents and children were made happy. The donor provided lots of toys including 4 bikes and 4 scooters which were distributed via a raffle.

Most touching was a woman who just cried stating how grateful she was to receive the bike. In her words, and through tears she said, "It's been a struggle". Another awesome moment was when the big girl bike winner came with her mom. She was so excited and wanted to ride the bike out of the church. You can see by her smile, she was happy!

While we prioritize housing and utilities, today also reminded each of us of the importance of our holiday drives. We helped relieve the burden for those who needed the assistance and provided them with a source of joy. We also received a gift as we interacted with the households today.

Special thanks to all our volunteers, especially Jeff who helped to distribute Christmas baskets and provided other assistance as needed.

A smile is contagious. Give it to the world and the world will give back to you.
You can brighten the days of people around just by smiling. (unknown)

GACM hosted the annual Winter Weather Warmth clothing drive and it was amazing . So many clothes were given away. The volunteers were wonderful and the shoppers were courteous and grateful. We also had giant boxes filled with brand new Bomba’s socks, all sizes.

Eileen did a superb job getting it together, and staging it . Very orderly and organized.
