We’re bringing in Juneteenth with a &Jazz fest! A perfect close to . We’re celebrating a week where we came together to reimagine the America we live in now and building a new one!
POWER Interfaith
Pennsylvania congregations and individuals united and committed to racial and economic justice.
Through the discipline of relationship building and the empowerment of everyday people, we hope to make lasting racial and economic policy change that benefits all.
In order to build a new America, we must be willing to engage with our neighbors. The civic engagement process is one of the most important steps in creating long lasting change. Everyone’s voice is important and deserves to be heard. This is how we build power.
In order to create a new America, people of faith and moral courage must stand up and create a dividing line. With so many across the country facing housing insecurity, high utility costs, discrimination and unfair treatment, it is up to us to build an America that makes these issues a thing of the past. That’s the America we’re building.
There’s something brewing in Allentown. People of faith and moral courage are reimagining what freedom looks like in a new America. An America without bloodshed. An America where everyone has enough to thrive. An America that welcomes its neighbors. What does a New America look like to you? Let us know in the comments.
On June 11, a federal raid took place targeting the Ohio Organizing Collaborative. A act made to instill fear and intimidation into a collaborative who only works to ensure that Ohioans have the right to vote.
We stand with the OOC as people of faith and moral courage, against fear and intimidation made by those in power. We will be sharing additional updates to our base in the midst of this incident, to ensure Pennsylvanians are informed and prepared.
