WE GOT DINNER YA'LL🥬🫘🥔🍅🦃. Feeding 149 men and 32 women for Thanksgiving is no small feat. Shoutout to our head chef Dru and participant Antonio for making the pick up today. Antonio and I had the wonderful opportunity to speak on about what we do and the resources we provide. Grateful to our parent organization and ShopRite Penrose Plaze for helping to make this all happen. 41 years of providing meals for Thanksgiving and still going strong.

CENTER FOR HOPE IS HIRING!!!

The Intensive Housing Locator (IHL) will play a key role in an 18-month pilot program aimed at reducing homelessness by facilitating timely and stable housing placements. The consultant will work part-time, collaborating with landlords, case managers, and program participants to secure housing solutions and support the program’s mission.

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with landlords and property managers to expand housing options.
• Collaborate with case managers to match participants with appropriate housing.
• Act as a liaison between landlords and participants, addressing concerns and promoting retention.
• Ensure program compliance with housing standards and regulations.
• Support marketing efforts to engage new landlords.

Qualifications
• Experience in affordable housing or property management.
• Knowledge of the Philadelphia and Delaware county rental markets.
• Strong communication, mediation, and organizational skills.
