A little more green in the neighborhood!

Shout out to Corinthian Gardeners who helped install donated plants to the Francisville Rec Center with oversight from United Francisville Community Association (UFCA). Love seeing our community come together to make our neighborhood a little bit greener! 🌱

🌿 Helping care for our neighborhood green spaces!

Anna and Nadia were out installing new Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) “Soak It Up” signs and giving some love to these neighborhood plantings. 💚

These green spaces are part of PWD’s green stormwater infrastructure and help manage stormwater while adding some much-needed green to our blocks.

The new signs are a friendly reminder to help protect them — take your trash with you, pick up after your pets, and please keep people and pups out of the plantings. 🌱🐾

Big thanks to Anna and Nadia for helping keep these spaces cared for and to Philadelphia Water Department for supporting greener neighborhoods!

🚗 Flea Market Weekend is here!

A quick parking reminder for our neighbors around Eastern State Penitentiary Park: please move your car before Friday evening to help make way for the Fairmount Vintage Flea Market on Saturday, September 12.

The flea market benefits Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park, so your cooperation helps us keep every dollar going right back into our neighborhood park. 🌳💚

Thank you, neighbors — and we’ll see you this weekend! 🛍️✨

🐛🔦 A night of bugs and budding scientists at Corinthian Gardens!

ANSP Entomologist Greg Cowper joined Clara and Jack for Friday night’s nighttime bug hunt, exploring some of the fascinating insects that call the garden “home.”

A huge thank you to Greg, along with neighborhood entomologists Clayton Traylor and Katie McManus, for helping organize the evening and sharing their knowledge with our curious young scientists! 🪲🦋🌿
