📚The Scholastic Book Fair will return to A.S. Jenks from 10/19-10/22!

🎉 The HSA is proud that for the past FOUR years that we have been able to ensure that every student is able to go home with something from the Book Fair at the end of the week.

💛 If you are able, please consider making a contribution to this Share the Fair e-Wallet set-up to help us do that again this year.

🎉Congratulations to all of our students for such an incredible Walk-a-Thon this year! Just look at these numbers.

🥇What the kids see: a break in their day to walk outside, earning colorful bracelets and competing with friends to walk laps, an extra recess day and even a fun pajama day last week

🚌 What they don’t see: offset costs of buses and field trips, funding of after-school clubs, appreciation gifts for teachers/staff, the ability to have fun events during and after school all year long and so much more

💛Thank you again to all of the families, teachers and staff and community members for your support with this event. We couldn’t do this without you! Thank you! 💙🐧

🗓️ There are multiple shifts to choose from. You can help with setup or clean-up, assist on student shopping days or help out during the evening family event. We appreciate it!!

📚 The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! 🐧✨

Join us in the gym the week of October 19th for one of our favorite Jenks traditions — where students can browse, shop, and discover books that spark curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading. 💙

🗓️ Family Evening Event
Back by popular demand! Join us at our Family Evening Hours on Tuesday, October 20th from 4:30-6:30pm for extra shopping time, crafts, treats and bookish fun for the whole family!

💙 Share the Fair!
Returning this year, Share the Fair — a way to give back to our wonderful Jenks community. All transactions will be rounded up to the nearest dollar to help the HSA:
✨ Provide books to children who otherwise couldn’t afford them
✨ Fill our classrooms and library with books kids want to read
✨ Reinforce that reading is a priority for our schools, families, and community

🛒 Shopping Schedule
Each class has a scheduled shopping time on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday — check the Book Fair handout sent home in your child’s backpack for your class’s time!

📚 If your student is absent during their class’s shopping slot, they’ll have a make-up shopping day on Thursday, October 22nd from 9:00–9:30 AM.

🙌 We’re still looking for volunteers to help with setup on Friday 10/16 and then during the school-day shopping hours 10/19-10/22!
