20 years ago today, our nation was shaken by an unthinkable tragedy. Today, we remember the 2,977 lives lost on September 11, 2001, placing one flag for each victim upon College Green this morning. Honoring their legacies, we will never forget. 🇺🇸

Penn College Republicans unequivocally denounce the actions of rioters at the US Capitol today. The peaceful transition of power is one of the most sacred elements of our Republic, and today individuals believing in baseless conspiracy theories attempted to disrupt the certification of the election by occupying the Capitol Complex. These actions are unacceptable, as are the actions by individuals that have sought to undermine our democracy in the past few weeks. We hope that the reprehensible conduct from all individuals at the Capitol, on social media, and over the airwaves ceases immediately. Today the foundations of our democracy were shaken, and we encourage everyone on all sides to take more constructive actions in our political process going forward.

Democrats created the politicized Judiciary by filibustering an Appeals nominee for the first time in history, Miguel Estrada, for being Hispanic.
