Last night CPOC hosted Autism Toolbox Training at the Mayfair Recreation Center. The training consisted of practical tools to help individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, and caregivers, navigate interactions with law enforcement with great confidence and safety. There was a police shooting yesterday morning, May 23, 2026, on the 2800 block of D Street. Our investigators responded to the scene to review and monitor. We will continue to monitor the situation as more information becomes available.
