🎃 There are lots of family-friendly Halloween/Fall Celebrations in the Park to Broad District this weekend! Scroll through for a quick guide!

Together Skateboarding & Coffee is hosting a ‘costumes encourage art show’ this Friday, October 23 from 6-9pm.

Francisville Garden & Greenspace Collective is hosting Francisville Fall Fest - Saturday, October 24 at Ogden Park - will have food trucks, live music, kids’ activities, a magician, balloon artist, pumpkin painting, and a small makers & crafters market from 4-8pm.

Smith Memorial Playground’s Barely Scary family-friendly Halloween party returns on Saturday, October 24, from 3-6pm

Brewerytown Garden’s Children’ s Costume Party is Saturday, October 24 from 2-4pm

Enjoy Philly Art Center’s Annual Halloween Festival & Parade on Sunday, October 25 starting at 2pm, followed by a drumline parade to the Fall Festival at Eastern State Historic Site from 4pm!

Join Eastern State from 3-5pm for their Fall Festival including trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, story time, art, music, and more. Free for kids in costume and their caregivers.

One of our Spring Small Business Fund recipients is , which offers a full range of veterinary services to help pets live longer, healthier lives.

The grant helped the clinic purchase a new lift table with a built-in scale, allowing staff to weigh pets right in front of their owners while keeping them comfortable.

“The new table allows the staff to attend patients without making the screeching noise the old one made. This keeps our patients calmer and more relaxed (and the owners, too).” - Kerri Wilkerson, co-owner of Girard Vet Clinic

We're awarding $500–$2,000 grants to storefront businesses in Fairmount, Brewerytown, Francisville, and Spring Garden. Funding can support equipment purchases or repairs, marketing campaigns, community events, and more.

One of the recipients of our Spring Small Business fund is , Philadelphia's luxury bridal and formalwear alterations studio offering expert tailoring, custom fittings, and elevated sewing classes. They received a Small Business Fund grant to expand the sewing workshop accessibility in their clothing alterations studio at 1527 Ridge Ave. Natasha Pressley, owner of Natasha Lynne Studios told us that “since winning this grant we’ve hosted three sewing classes and two private lesson sessions. We are gearing up for our fall courses right now!”
