In Philadelphia, the Frankford Avenue Corridor Safety Improvements Project (MPMS # 115434) will implement safety and operational upgrades along the corridor, including curb extensions, updated markings and signage, modernized traffic signals, improved pedestrian features, ADA ramps, drainage work, trackless trolley modifications, communication/fiber installations, and other improvements.

Oxford Valley Road/Lincoln Highway Intersection Improvements (MPMS #13635) will reconstruct North Oxford Valley Road through the Lincoln Highway and Bristol-Oxford Valley Road intersections in Falls and Middletown townships in Bucks County.

There’s one week left in DVRPC’s Public Comment Period for Draft Amendment 1 to the Long-Range Plan, Draft FFY 2027 Transportation Improvement Program for Pennsylvania, and Draft Conformity Determination. PA TIP project MPMS # 82069 will improve safety for all roadway users, including motorists, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders on PA 291 from Irving Street to Ridley Creek. This will include reconstructing the roadway into a more appropriate facility for Chester City and building a multi-use sidepath that will be designated as part of the East Coast Greenway.

In Montgomery County, PA TIP project High Street Safety: Hanover Street to Washington Street (MPMS #82156) will implement proposed safety countermeasure treatments including leading pedestrian intervals, retroreflective backplates, high visibility crosswalks, pedestrian refuge islands, and curb extensions.

PA TIP project MPMS #82168 will implement proposed safety countermeasure treatments including lane reallocation from 4 to 2 with a center median, high visibility crosswalks, ADA ramps, pedestrian signals, curb extensions, and lighting upgrades on Wissahickon Avenue from Hunting Park Avenue to Clapier Street in the City of Philadelphia.
