We are incredibly proud to share that our Community Awareness Coordinator Tijania was honored last week with a resolution from the City in recognition of National Volunteer Month.
This recognition reflects not only the dedication she brings to her work here at CDVS, but also the impact she continues to make beyond the workplace. Her commitment to community, her passion for service, and her ability to show up with intention in every space she enters does not go unnoticed.
She is truly a multifaceted individual with a loving heart. She is someone who leads with purpose, compassion, and authenticity in all that she does. We are grateful to have her as a part of our team and celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Thank you to and for thinking about her.

We were honored to represent CDVS at last night’s NCVRW event, an annual gathering hosted by .phila to recognize the lives impacted and lost to violence.
The candle lighting ceremony was a powerful reminder of the strength in community. This is by creating space not only to connect with partner agencies, but to stand together in remembrance and support. This year’s collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia Office of School Safety and the Pennsylvania Office of the Safe Schools Advocate made it even more meaningful.
Grateful to be part of such an impactful evening every year. Hopefully we’ll see you next year. 🕯️
