Juneteenth marks the day freedom finally reached the last enslaved Americans in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. It's a celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress, while also serving as a reminder that the work of expanding opportunity for every American continues.
Today, honoring Juneteenth means protecting economic opportunity, strengthening our democracy, and ensuring every family has the freedom to build a better future.

The American flag represents freedom, democracy and opportunity for everyone.
Flag Day is a reminder that patriotism means protecting our freedoms, respecting democracy and bringing people together — not dividing Americans for political gain.

Pride Month is about freedom, dignity and community.
While MAGA politicians push division and attacks on LGBTQ+ Americans, we’re focused on protecting freedoms, lowering costs and building a country where everyone can thrive.
Happy Pride Month from For Our Future. 🌈

This Memorial Day, we’re grateful for every American who served and sacrificed for our democracy. Veterans and their families deserve leaders who will protect the benefits and services they earned, not politicians willing to jeopardize critical programs for partisan politics.

Workers showed up. Our rep didn’t.
On May 7, we hosted a workers’ townhall with Affordable Pennsylvania. Both union & non-union folks shared their real stories on the cost of healthcare, groceries, housing, and gas.
While Sen. Nick Miller attended, listened, and engaged, Rep. Ryan Mackenzie left an empty chair.
This is what accountability looks like — from the people who show up.

Today is International Workers’ Day! While May Day is honored around the world, it began right here in the US. In 1886, more than 300,000 workers went on strike in support of an 8 hour workday. These workers were not powerful people. They did not have lobbyists or PACs. What they had was each other and the willingness to show up.
We honor that legacy by taking to the streets and organizing. We’re organizing canvasses, town halls, phone banks, and more—and now is the perfect time to jump into action. Your voice is how we move the needle.

Everyone deserves clean water to drink, clean air to breathe, and a healthy environment to live in. No exceptions.
And here’s the thing: fighting climate change isn’t just good for the planet. It’s good for us.
This Earth Day, we’re not just posting — we’re doing the work year-round to build a future worth living in. Come join us. 🌱

Last month, our team held a Letter to the Editor workshop that dove into the in's and out's of a good LTE. Gwen attended this workshop and the results are wonderful. Read this important piece on the data center proposal in Upper Macungie and start thinking through what you'd write for our next workshop!
Letter to the Editor: We’ve seen what happens when data centers come to a community. Electricity and water bills will skyrocket across the Lehigh Valley. https://mrf.lu/bY0T

Today is April Fools and to celebrate, we’re teaming up with Action Together Northeastern PA, Pennsylvania Policy Center, and friends to expose the real joke: Trump, Rep. Bresnahan, and their wealthy donors pushing policies that put corporate profits ahead of working people and funnel more wealth to those who already have the most—while working people are left struggling to make ends meet.
