SEPTA is preparing to welcome FIFA World Cup 2026™ soccer fans to Philadelphia and the region.

Philadelphia will host six (6) matches for FIFA World Cup 2026™, including a Round of 16 match on July 4, 2026 when Philadelphia will be the epicenter of 250th anniversary celebration of the United States.

There will be street closures June 6, 2026 starting at 4pm until 8pm:
13th Street between Locust and Walnut Streets
Locust Street between 13th and Quince Streets
12th Street between Locust and Spruce Streets
There will be no food trucks or street vendors. Just bars, clubs and restaurants having drink specials and food specials at their establishments. The LGBTQ+ Visitors Center will have some elements in the street on Locust Street.
