Today, CCAI’s Director of Policy, Taylor Draddy, moderated a panel “Breaking Barriers for Youth in Foster Care: Flipping the Script” at the National Youth-At-Risk virtual conference! Some of our FYI alumni joined as panelists to share expertise on how to flip the script and change the narrative for youth in foster care: Dr. Sara Wood (2005) of Bibb County School District, Demontea Thompson (2018) of Twinspire, and Christopher Scott (2019) of SUN Scholars Inc. Willie Moore Jr., our 2017 Angels in Adoption gala emcee, was also able to join and share his perspective as an adoptee on how to flip the script.
