Stenton Family Manor is looking to fill Part-Time Weekend positions in the following area:

Residential Department

Responsibilities:

* Provide a safe environment for the residents.
* Resolve conflicts with residents and encourage them to cooperate with staff members.
* Monitor Residents in their living areas as well as throughout the building.
* Assist in daily operations of the shelter to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for families.
* Support staff in implementing policies, programs, and activities that promote family empowerment and self-sufficiency.
* Monitor the well-being of residents, providing support as needed.
* Help maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas within the shelter.
* Properly fill out daily paperwork and write-ups.
* Perform daily and nightly room checks.

Requirements:

* Experience working with individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism or special requirements, is preferred.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with families and staff members.
* Experience in group home or community care settings is a plus.
*Monitor Consumers in their living areas as well as throughout the building.
* Applicants must be able to work weekend 12-hour shifts day and night.
*Have a minimum High School Diploma or GED
*Must obtain and maintain a Clean Criminal Background, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearance
*Pass drug screenings
*Able to lift up to 25lbs
*Able to walk up and down stairs
*PC Literate
* Spanish Bilingual or other Language is a plus.

*Applicants must be able to work all shifts.
*Safe Serv certification is a priority in the application process.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain Safe Serv and City of Philadelphia Certification.
*Have a minimum High School Diploma or GED
*Experience: a minimum of 2 years experience in institutionalized food service is preferred.
*Prepare & Serve Nutritious and tasty Meals for residents.
*Assist in daily clean up, kitchen maintenance, and setting up and taking down the dining areas.
*Other job duties include preparing and serving snacks and taking inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
*Cook must learn the protocols and procedures for their facilities, as well as the rules and regulations for the states where they work.
* Along with physical skills, a cook must be compassionate and patient when working with the homeless population.

*Pass a drug screening
*Able to lift up to 25lbs

Monday - Friday 12:00am - 8:00am (Security)
Monday - Friday 11:30pm - 7:30pm
Weekend 12 Hour shifts (7am - 7pm or 7pm- 7am)
