Seniors are the backbone of our neighborhoods, and it’s a blessing to be a blessing for them. 💜✊🏾🧡

A big shift is underway at , as the system’s longterm healthcare contractor collapsed in weeks, leaving workers without a paycheck and our incarcerated neighbors without care.

Last year, I questioned the city’s reliance on YesCare because of the human toll its malpractice has been responsible for across the nation — we shouldn’t have been such loyal partners until the bitter end.

I’m glad the administration had a new provider ready to step in and that workers received support. But this is a situation calling out for . 🔎
