For the global oppressed majority the 4th of July represents the birth of a blood soaked great Satan who feeds of the life blood of the oppressed people of the world.
We celebrate not the 250 years of terror Amerikkka has brought forth onto the planet, but the 250 years of ongoing anti-colonial resistance to US Imperialism.
Amidst school closures primarily affecting working class New Afrikans, cop riots in the Gayborhood, war against Iran and genocide against the Palestinian people we refuse to let this city celebrate Amerikkkan terror.
Join us 8:45 AM at the Northwest side of Washington Square to remind the world that Philadelphia is not for Imperialists, but for the people!

THIS SATURDAY JUNE 13 @ 2:30 join the Trans United Front, the revolutionary trans organizing wing of Philly Socialists. We want to give these pigs hell, and we want your help.
At this mass meeting we will discuss a campaign against police brutality of q***r and trans people in this city. This will take place directly after the Philly Socialists general interest meeting at the same location (125 South 52nd Street). You can go to both events, or just show up after.
We don’t want to always be responding with defensive rallies—we want to bring the fight to them. Will we see you there?

STATEMENT ADDRESSING POLICE VIOLENCE AT PHILLY PRIDE 2026
06/08/2026
🚨EMERGENCY RALLY TONIGHT‼️🚨 THE PARTY ISNT OVER UNTIL WE SAY IT’S OVER‼️
Yesterday the cops rolled up to pride in riot gear, shouting “party’s over” and “if you won’t leave there will be no mercy” and started beating attendees with batons. They think a flimsy pretext of “crowd control” can disguise their fascism— we say F**K OFF! The first pride was a riot!! Gather with us TONIGHT, 6PM at Walnut and 13th & show the pigs that nothing will stop us.

Thank you to everyone who attended our discussion on April 30! ‘From Chiapas to Philly’ was presented and facilitated by .wolley and and summarized our comrade’s experience and analysis of their visit to the Zapatista territory. We had a great turnout, an in-depth discussion, and raised hundreds of dollars in support of the campaign ‘An Operating Room in the Lacandon Jungle’! Thank you Sarah for teaching us a bit about the rich history of the Zapatistas, and how their work can inform our own organizing. It was truly inspiring to see so many new and recognizable comrades engaging with this together. And thank you again to Geo Maher, as well as for hosting!
