The crisp fall air has arrived, and we are officially in craft mode at The Willows!

🧁✨ Baking Up Sweet Memories! ✨🧁

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Cupcake Day by decorating delicious cupcakes with yummy homemade buttercream icing and festive fall sprinkles! 🍂🍁

We planned this activity with a special goal in mind. Many of our residents cooked and baked for their families for decades. We wanted to give them a chance to step back into that familiar, joyful role and do what they used to love doing so much at home.

🧁✨ Baking Up Sweet Memories! ✨🧁

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Cupcake Day by decorating delicious cupcakes with yummy homemade buttercream icing and festive fall sprinkles! 🍂🍁

We planned this “Baking with Lahoma” activity with a special goal in mind. Many of our residents cooked and baked for their families for decades. We wanted to give them a chance to step back into that familiar, joyful role and do what they used to love doing so much at home.

Today, we are incredibly proud to honor and celebrate the breast cancer survivors who live and work right here beside us. To our amazing residents and dedicated employees who have faced this disease and won—you define what it means to be a warrior.

To show our collective support, our staff and residents wore pink today for everyone whose life has been impacted by breast cancer. 💗

With heavy yet grateful hearts, we also remember the beautiful lives cut short by this disease. We wrap our arms around the families who carry the weight of their absence, offering our love and unwavering support today and every day. ✨🩷

Our latest life enrichment activity combined a love for treasured hymns with hands-on artistry. Our talented residents created stunning vintage hymnal art by using a unique ☕️ coffee-staining technique.
Activities like this are about so much more than just a beautiful final product—they give our residents a chance to socialize, practice fine motor skills, and reminisce about the songs that have meant so much to them throughout their lives.🎼🎹
